Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select Tennessee Whiskey is a high-end, collector’s edition bottling that celebrates more than fifty years of mutual admiration between the legendary crooner Frank Sinatra and America’s oldest registered distillery. Frank was known for carrying a glass of Jack Daniel’s on stage worldwide, and this special expression was crafted to be as bold, smooth, and timeless as Ol’ Blue Eyes himself.
The exceptional character of Sinatra Select is achieved through a proprietary wood maturation process developed by Master Distiller Jeff Arnett. The whiskey is aged in specially designed, handcrafted “Sinatra Barrels.” The interior staves of these barrels feature unique, deep grooves cut into the wood before charring. This increases the surface area significantly, allowing the whiskey to penetrate deeper into the oak through the changing seasons.
After undergoing the distillery’s signature Lincoln County Process—dripping the spirit slowly through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal—it enters these grooved barrels to develop an amplified, deeply expressive profile. Bottled at a commanding 45% ABV (90 Proof), which matches the proof strength Sinatra preferred back in his day, it possesses a richer color and a more robust wood-forward body than the classic Old No. 7.
